My dad bought me His Dark Material: Book II: The Subtle Knife by Phillip Pullman, seeing as I just finished The Golden Compass (which, IMO was an amazing book for anyone who likes Harry Potter). It gets rank6.gif

And yesterday I bought Leap Day by Wendy Mass which is a great book for any teenage girl. biggrin.gif And I bought No Body's Perfect edited by Kimberly Kirberger which actually is one of those really stupid "You Can Do Anything If You Try" books. I thought it would be like Chicken Soup but it sucks! thumbdown.gif

And I just got a brill idea: Book Review Thread. I am already on Book Review Team at school so even if no one else wants to do it, I can keep a steady stream coming. What do you think Sniv?

I think I have a problem with going offtopic.gif . Sorry!!! If anyone wants to discuss such a thread PM me. smile.gif

The last two books I bought were: About a boy By Nick Hornby and The Monty Python Autobiography, By The Pythons. I got them at the same time with a voucher, which at the time I wasn't keen on, but then I got to the book store and was like ohmy.gif

I'm just about to get all mine, and I'm not looking forward to it (over $60 for one book alone!)

I enjoy reading self-help books that my mum gets back from the library, and I ended up buying Be Your Own Life Coach by Fiona Harrold because I found it enjoyable. You know library books are good when you end up renewing them more than once on different cards.

I love Sense and Sensibility! Actually I'm a Jane Austen freak though I get a lot of bashes for that. Umm I got Killing Mr. Griffin by Louis Duncan(?) and I just finished reading it for my English report but I thought it was actually pretty good, not my usual taste though.
