1. J.K. Rowling.... I love Harry Potter.
2. Phillip Pullman... His Dark Material is brill.
3. Wendy Mass... All her books are so original!!!
4. Louis Lowry... I love her portrayals of the future in The Giver and Gathering Blue.
5. Phyllis Reynold Naylor... I love the Alice series.
6. Meg Cabot... The Princess Diaries and 1-800-Where-R-You are great.
7. Cecily von Ziegesar... Gossip Girl is so cool!!
8. Judy Blume... She is just a great author.
9. Shel Silverstein... Awesome poetry!!!
10. Jerry Spinelli... StarGirl was a great book.

Yeah, hakushi! CLAMP rocks!!

1. between JRRT and JKR- some of you might take offense to that (purists I know you're out there), but I just can't choose.
2. CLAMP- total geniuses behind Chobbits, Wish, and CCS!!
3. Yu Watasi- Fushigi Yugi and Ceres are soooo good.
4. Jane Austen- see a trend yet? I love romance flowers.gif also, she's responsible for the sweet, caring, and sexy creature called Col. Brandon! tongue.gif
5. Edgar Allan Poe- I'm attached to The Raven. Idk y, but it reminds me of a Snape. The whole tortured soul-thing. Also Telltale Heart.
6. Naoko Taekuchi- the woman responsible for my love for anime. Thank you for giving me a lifetime obssession and hobby!
7. Shakespeare- his plays ROCK...once you translate and understand it.
8. Ted Dekker- his characters always have a supernatural "flaw"
9. Alexandre Dumas- Count of Monte Cristo was a thrilling adventure... hart.gif the ending!
I don't have a tenth since their was a tie for first and I didn't want to shift the others down.
